One of my favorite places to find unique pieces for our house is RJ imports in San Juan Capistrano!… If you live in Orange County/LA it is definitely a must! The owner goes all over the world collecting items and then brings them back to the states to sell in his shop! It is also so inspiring as well, when I need some inspiration for a light or a table display I go there and it never fails I always walk out with something I love!

This time I walked out with these galvanized steel cups that I converted to be votive candle holders to put on my fireplace mantle!.. I love practical rustic pieces that add character!

A few trips ago we were looking for a light to put in our guest room. We found this industrial light cage that I knew would look amazing as a light fixture for that room so my husband did all of the electrical wiring on it and I wrapped the edges in jute rope just as a little extra detail! It’s literally that easy!
